This event is the third in a series of events by Jasmine Creusson.
#3 is an exploration into how food is considered and valued, by people of all backgrounds within the city of Bristol.
This four-course meal, which includes wine and a cocktail is an exploration into Bristol’s past, present and future. Created by Jasmine, chef and visual artist working alongside some of Bristol’s finest residents in co-creating this foodie experience.

For our starter we have George Cusworth who shares his views and research into the future of sustainable agriculture.
Sovereign Jones, the second participant, works for the Better Food Company and has an abundant knowledge of health food combining with a real enthusiasm for seaweed!
Our third participant is Matthew an entrepreneur who has just opened a family run exciting new Caribbean eatery called #FOOD in the heart of Bedminster.
To end our meal we have Fozia Ismail who is a historical researcher, artist and Bristol foodie who will be sharing the story of Sambusa.
This event captures real insight into the historical context of various produce and cooking methods used here in Bristol, reflecting on Bristol’s colonial past and how this has influenced Bristol’s food scene. Together the four dishes and their stories will have you intrigued in finding out more about the rich history of Bristol’s food culture and how it’s affecting its foodie future.
